When I open the game first there's a screen with the names of the developers and then it goes to a black screen with a few tiny glitch pixels at the bottom. So something is broken.
Any idea how to fix it?

you must install the obb file. The 2nd link . If you need help installing obb file see my video tutorial its very easy to do. You must install BOTH files

I know that, I've installed a couple of modded apks that needed aditional files.

I have extracted the obb both into the Android folder on the sd and the internal storage. It's in both folders twice once in a folder that the game created called "com.noodlecake.suzycube" and in a folder called like the obb file was called "main.216.com.noodlecake.suzycube".
Still just a black screen with glitchy pixels.

I have downloaded the file twice so this isn't down to a corrupted download.

@SusieQ First of all intro video of story is freaking awesome. those bastards robs castle and our hero is busy in dreaming LMFAO. This Game Shouldnt have been Made if our hero was waking during his Duty (Jokes A Part :p )
second i loves his/her dance when level gets completed and yes that char is like u ( white white ) LMFAO Thanks for this game LOL!!!

Finally managed to get it working.
I deleted all the files I had extracted from the obb. And moved the obb file itself into the folder the game created.
