About this game

Polygon: "My Child Lebensborn tells a disturbing tale about innocents in the aftermath of WW2”
LevelUp: “The strongest game experience that I have ever had.”

My Child Lebensborn, now out in Ukrainian and Hindi!

You adopt a young Lebensborn child in Norway after WW2, but parenting will be hard as your child grows up in a hostile and hateful environment. See a different side of the war, inspired by the true stories of the Lebensborn children. Discover how hatred of our enemies continues to create victims, even after victory.

Discover their past and support them in the present. You must balance your time and resources to provide for your child. You will find answers to the hard questions; about their history, the hatred, bullying and the passing of blame.

Can you help Klaus/Karin cope with the heavy inheritance of the German occupation, so they will find their place in a country that is celebrating its freedom.
You can make the difference.

- Explore a gripping storyline based upon true events.
- Earn money as you work, then cook, craft, forage and play.
- Use your time and meager resources wisely.

I love this game. Between the art style, the story line, and learning more about the past through playing it was great. There where times my heart just broke for the child. I kind of wish at the end it gave me the little score sheet thing like it had been giving me throughout the chapters. So I could see or the option to look through the picture book or something like that. The ending felt a little unfinished. Besides that I'm hoping there will be more someday and overall I enjoyed the game.

EDITED: The previous issue with crashing has been resolved. Thanks to the devs for replying to my review and fixing the issue. This is a terrific game, I've played through before and it's a very educational and emotional experience. The story is very sad, but the child is so cute and it's a pleasure to "raise" them. The remaster is great! There are a lot of new activities to try and I like the updated graphics. I especially like that styling the child's hair no longer costs time!

This game is hands down amazing. I really enjoyed the educational aspect in regards to WW2. It was a pov I had never seen before and I'm a huge history buff. My only 2 complaints: a few actions are repetitive and it would be nice for more features added. The game also didn't feel long enough. I hope there is more added in the future as I spent the $3 and felt like it went by so fast. 🥺
