Why the game crashes during playing and the second hero last skill make the game crashes (freezes)

Game keeps crashing after the 2nd room when a skeleton throws a projectile at me. MOD works otherwise.

Anyone have any luck progressing? Have crashes almost immediately once actual gameplay starts

They told me game crashing isn't technically an emergency. I said it was because every time it crashes I get angry and fire my shotgun in a random direction. Now I'm in the back of their car. Who else can I call to fix them??
